Iced Earth - Burnt Offerings (possibly the most evil sounding and anger/hate filled album I have ever heard. So much harder hitting than any death/black metal band, and awesome songs as well.

'Iced Earth - Burnt Offerings (possibly the most evil sounding and anger/hate filled album I have ever heard.'

dude......WEIRD!

While I am not all that into it, I have heard quite alot of death/black metal, and most of the dark sounding stuff comes off more try hard IMO, and that is the point I was trying to make about Burnt Offerings, it isn't try hard at all, it is just a thrash album that came out sounding so damn evil because of all the emotion that was poured into it.

I do like some black, and particularly some death metal, so if you can recommend me something more evil than BO I would be glad to give it a try. :)

Are you saying that constant screeching about satan and his overlords over tremelo picking and blast beats doesnt sound scary Blitzy? :)

You are so full of it sometimes Spiff. Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir are the only true black metal bands left Spiff.
