Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it on the forums.

I was wondering if anyone knows the guitar signal chain that was used for recording The Acacia Strains Continent album.

I absolutely LOVE the chug on the guitars, expecially the really punchy sound on The Behemoth and was wondering is anyone had any pointers to getting that kind of tone on my PODx3 while playing it. If i can get close to that from the amp side, then i could probably happily work it into any recordings I do so was wondering, does compression help to get that kind of tone or am i going completely the wrong way?

Thanks in Advance.

from what I remember the record used a signal chain of like 3 or 4 different amps haha. I don't believe Zuess used a pod on it.
I'll double check when I get a chance.

It sounds as if there's a Krank in that mix. I know i wouldn't get exactly the same as that tone on a POD. but close would be ideal. :) I just love how squishy and round the palm mutes are.

Wormwood was in my top 3 albums of last year. or at least, the ones i saw as being the most influential to the kids...

1. Wormwood
2. New Ion D
3. Danza III

FUCK.
