What do you think what kind of eye liner is better: liquid or pencil-shaped one (whatever it's called)?
Oh, and why are you doing this? (just being curious
)
@Debbie (?) and Ariane-
I like both, for different reasons. Both have their pros and cons.
Liquid is good for top eyelid if you want a hard, defined line that won't smudge later in the day, however it'll chip if it's cheap stuff and make your eyelid itch til you scratch it and it's just a disaster... and you happen to not have your eyeliner with you or access to a mirror.
Pencil is good for under-eye cause you can smudge it
and make a solid line (i.e.) solid line under lashes, then smudge under that for a thicker, darker look. You can also use it on the inside on your bottom lid (you know what I mean). Problem with inside lid- it moves down to my cornea(sp?) eventually, because of tears, and is the equivalent of the "sleepers" you have when you wake up in the morning. I also use it on the top lid when I just want a smudged black lid. It's sometimes better than using black shadow as eye shadows tend to crease from oils in the skin.
Liquid is also better (I think) for doing those "bat wings" on the top lid. More defined and won't run/smudge from sweat/moisture/oils that can typically change the feel and appearance of your "face paint" or war paint, as I call it, throughout the day. Afterall, we rock the bat wings cause they're hawt and defined, right?
Mmmk I just wrote my summary of all things eyeliner I learned in modeling school.
edit: I'm doing this cause... it makes me focus on something completely unrelated to my daily routine.
