Last night I was kicking ass on the monopoly board, while my co-worker at the very same moment was going through his nightly ritual of looking through world of warcraft videos for 8 fucking hours straight via youtube. This chap plays it 13 hours a day, reads about it 40 hours a week at work, and has 3 level 70 Oompas to his name. This guy would larp the shit out of Krig with one plastic sword tied behind his back. Hell the other day he said to me, "My wife may get a new job that pays 72k a year, ha now I can quit my job and play WoW all day." Sadly, he was dead serious. Back on topic and to make a long story short, several of these youtube videos have heavy metal music as their background, and it quite literally makes me want to throw up in my mouth. Iron Maiden's Hallowed be thy Name, Colony Era In Flames, some decent Power Metal tune in which I never heard of, yadda yadda. Seriously Fuck off you fucking nerds! Call me insane, call me a quack, hell clown on me all you like, but don't tell me for one second that this does not bother you?!?! This is the equivalent of having a sacred song that you shared with your wife, which eloquently played through the speakers of your 1988 Toyota Tercel in splendorous times of yore, only to be heard years later raped and sodomized as the backdrop for a Burger King commercial shilling the return of the 99 cent Whopper. Heavy Metal music has nothing to do with such idiocy. This is madness?!? THIS IS FAGGOTRY!!! Who must I kick in a pit for this to stop!?!? This irritation transcends youtube, myspace, and all such faggot outlets. I've also seen such cuntdom on boards that have nothing to do with music. Teenyboppers with Immortal in their signature on an automobile repair forum?!? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!!!!

The point I'm trying to make is simple folks... Music has a lot to do with association, with the majority of the music which I place on a pedestal being associated to certain events in my life, or brief moments when the majestic beauty of the music just clicked. To hear it linked to such nonsense makes it all appear so shallow.
Not to mention...GAY!
