Did anybody get these? Ive not been listening to metal for a few weeks (been writing and recording it still) now and this fitted perfectly into everything else ive been listening too.

The Abbey Road one makes me fucking hard. That album is possibly one of the best ever.

I fucking love Abbey Road... though Octopus's Garden sucks just a tad... ah, Ringo eh!

Haven't seen the remasters yet, though Rubber Soul is on its way here for my brother's birthday... how are the DVDs?

I like The Beatles. I think a lot of the people who say they don't would be able to find at least one or two songs they like in their complete discography.

I don't actually own any Beatles records so if I ever come into some cash I would actually buy the box set.

I mean,

look at it!!

To be honest, I've never actually listened to the Beatles. All I see is a 60's version of the Jonas Brothers. A Pop music fad basically. Although, I should really listen to them before I make such a claim.

Also, Siobhan, Lordmoron and I are the only ones that have no interest in them huh?

Yeh you should listen, because they arent that. They got moulded into something like that when they got picked up, but that was for very few albums, but those albums are great. Then id say from Revolver onwards they were innovating, like mad.

Get Revolver and Abbey Road. Especially Abbey Road, you'll hear where heavy metal came from with a few songs. They went on to influence Cream and Blue Cheer, and these bands influenced Black Sabbath, and now we're here with metal. But Come Together is AMAZING, I Want You (She's So Heavy) is described as proto doom. And so is Helter Skelter from The White Album.

Everybody here is dismissing them "cos dey iz nut heavy metulz!!!!!". The Beatles were such a tallented band, its bloody stupid of how good they are. Abbey Road is one of my all time favourites, took me a while to listen to The Beatles and i know i should have years ago, but im so glad i did. A cool thing too, you listen to any Beatles album and you seem to already know a few of the songs if you havent heard them before. Revolver and Abbey Road... do it.

Yeah, I agree with that. Then again I would, as I've always enjoyed The Beatles.

My favourites would probably be Revolver, Rubber Soul and The White Album. Though, Sgt. Pepper's is a great album too, and they have many good songs on the rest of their albums too. Much like a lot of bands who have such a large back catalogue.
