ok i know they are probs the biggest band ever and have influenced music hugely but i still cant stand them

Im assuming you hate them without hearing the great albums. Because when people have an imagine of the band, its always the beatlemania era. The way people sort of see The Jonas Brothers now. That sorta thing. But they were never even close to that. Give Abbey Road a PROPPER listen.

To be honest, I've never actually listened to the Beatles. All I see is a 60's version of the Jonas Brothers. A Pop music fad basically. Although, I should really listen to them before I make such a claim.

Also, Siobhan, Lordmoron and I are the only ones that have no interest in them huh?

I totaly understand that opinion, but you need to think about this. 1, They are Ozzy Osbourne's favorite band, and were therefore hugely influincial in heavy metal. 2. the beatles practically invented progressive rock by introducing foreign instruments and what were at that time epic length songs. I'm not and enormous beatles fan, but they are the definition of 'greatness.' teenagers have been listening to the beatles for over 45 years. in 45 years, who will be listening to the Jonas brothers in 45 years? i expect the number will be far fewer than those still listening to the beatles.
