I believe you´re talking about the last fight of the movie, against the japanese general. It´s indeed very cool.
I´ve seen soooo many cheesy chinese kungfu movies from Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Tony Leung, etc. My favourite has always been those with jokes in the middle of the action, like Fong Sai Yuk from Jet Li and Drunken Master from Jackie Chan (this one rocks):
