How does "Unseen" compare to "Book of the Dead and other Steel Prophet material?

I know what you mean about Crimson Glory...Transcendence rules! Speed metal or Power metal? Power metal I think!

Unseen is probably my personal favourite Steel Prophet album. It follows it's predecessor in style and production but I just think the songs are slightly better written. 'Among The Damned' is one of the most beautiful Power Ballads I've ever heard.

By looking at what other people like on this thread, I'll put my reputation on the line and reccomend it lol.

Another band that are borderline Power/Traditional Metal that I'm quite into is Dark Avenger. I think they're Brazilian and I'm not sure if they're still going strong.

Does anyone here know anything more about them?

Dark Avenger are definitely Brazilian (Sao Paulo). I think they still together. I used to talk to a friend of theirs on Napster but we've lost touch......I think they have only the one album available...which you obviously have Eagle........Dark Avenger.

i just bought the lost horizon album, and i must say it's a good album with some catchy songs...but there is some tracks that really sucks!

Yeah....I know what you mean about LH lyrics, although there are some other bands out there who are equally guilty. I think the worst thing about LH is their image!

I can see where you are coming from..... for me it's one of those albums that I tend to put on if I'm undecided as to what I want to listen to...hence it's appearance on my list Image is a bit of a problem for them .....I agree
