The best thread from Gearslutz EVER!

nice! nothing like turning the tables and calling out the sassy bastards. thats one thing i've never understood, how people can be assholes to people that they need/depend on... like the "suck button" example earlier. oh well, least it makes a good story :p

the suck button was clearly done on random assholes of a venue, not people they the get their regular bread from

true, but the band still needed them. its like yelling at a waiter before they bring you your food. you might never go back there again, but they still have a chance to screw with your food

i think both of you misunderstand me... i LIKE that the sound guys got revenge. and yes, i'm a musician, not a sound guy. but that doesnt mean i think musicians should be assholes. i still think its messed up, and ultimately a stupid choice, to screw around with people who you need (ie - a sound guy at a gig, a waitress at a diner, or the secretary in an office).

the motorcycle season in Finland had just started, so the singer of the band said that he was coming to the gig on his Harley Davidson. The gig was in a place called Eura. The weather was nice and we started loading the stuff in, the soundcheck was supposed to start in about 30 minutes, but the singer was nowhere to be seen. So I called him and asked where he was. "I'm here in Aura, where is the gig place..."

There are a few posts in that topic by a guy called "High Fidelity" ... and he's copyrighted his forum posts... or attempted to.

I wonder if he knows that in the terms and conditions, there is probably a clause which says anything posted on there is the property of the board owner.
