yeah i know the origins of christmas, but when all of my agnostic and athiest friends start celebrating it, it becomes pretty obvious that it has little religious significance to MOST people now a days... at least in this country.
 
A day for all of us to get together and a day for all fat corporate fucks to make some crazy money. Buy your own goddamn presents, that way you'll get exactly what you want, you'll spend exactly how much you need to, and you won't get crappy presents!!!! A blowjob and a beer is a great christmas present, why give the fuckers money? Jesus is writhing in his grave, his brains rotting and eyes falling out, his guts eaten by maggots and his belly now full of maggot shit!!! yeah i know all that - really it's kind of the christian adaptation of a pagan ritual, also it's been blended with so many tales and cultural stories that i dont really think of it as simply a christian holiday anymore - but, like i said, an excuse to give :D

I thought Jesus was all liberal like, and a feminist, and a civil rights activist, he surely must have been a gay rights activist too, the way I see it in my sig, he was a homo, no big deal, that's very liberal and stuff I thought you'd like the idea.
 
actually, guerilla has a good point there...
from how i've heard perfecterror talk, using homophobic slurs etc.... homophobia is based on declarations by the catholic church.... jesus christ supposedly preached acceptance and equality.... and she says that she believes in christ, but not religion
