Fact is, STAR WARS is structured on textbook Campbellian mythology and a total RIP-OFF of Oriental culture! Just to cite a few examples:
1) Light/dark = Yang/Yin
2) Force = qi
3) Darth Vader's helmet = samurai helmet
4) Light sabers = samurai swords
5) Luke's robe = karate gi
6) Yoda = koan-spouting Zen master
7) Obi-Wan = Taoist adept/immortal
8) Etc, etc
Yet they got EVERY OTHER RACE in it, EXCEPT for the one it's BASED ON! Not even ONE token one!!!! Wow!

So much wrong with his statement Vader's helmet was modelled after the Germans, the swords are meant to be the big heavy medieval european swords but utilized in Samurai fashion (that's why in EP IV they just fight so slow because it was supposed to be a hard to handle weapon that required two hands)... the robes are Bedoiun, etc...

Also, I just watched A New Hope for the millionth time. I think that it steals the title of my #1 Favorite movie of all time from Empire Strikes Back because after all these years, the attack on the Death Star in ANH still makes my heart race, no lie.

I like ANH second to RotJ... Something about the ending, the emotion of Luke and Vader fighting, and the rage he succumbs to when he chops off his hand is moving... too bad there's Ewoks in the movie. I mean I don't mind them but a Stormtrooper being knocking out by a teddy bear throwing a rock and his helmet makes me pretty mad

Yeah, well I didn't mention TPM for a reason The droids weren't nearly as bad in Ep I as the others, especially RotS and the Clone Wars cartoon.
