Also: Qui-Gon is not the worst Jedi ever. He picked up the boy because he was fulfilling the prophesy. What I don't get is that if he was supposed to bring balance at a time when the Jedi overwhelmed the Sith in numbers, why would the Jedi want to balance that? Hmmmm?
