Im with him... You cant be a metalhead and hate solos... their simply one of the most important parts of metal, and their awesome live, give the shows some wildness...
Tom is obviously not much of a Heavy/Power/Thrash fan then... the only genres of metal that dont have solos alot are Grindcore and Brutaldeath... and that shit is a joke more often than not.

SOlo's are brutal! but ot many solo's is fucking poofy! Some Megadeth songs just have solo's all the way through it, its just ridiculous! But SOlo's do fucking kill! one of the best i can think of now is Trey's in Where the Slime Lives!!!
