The Dark Knight official trailer...

yup, it looks like it'll be Film of the year. Heath Ledger as the joker seems to do an excellent job, which was unexpected on my part. Glad to see he can do a villain.

The scene I saw was pretty damn cool. It was a bank robbery and a portion of the robbers were joker's men. Once the " regular " bank robbers did thier respective parts the joker's men would kill them off.
The last robber to figure it out turns to one of the joker's men and says " well, I guess your supposed to kill me off now? ", to which the joker's guy says " no, thats the bus driver's job ".

the guy looks around and goes " what bus driver? ", then BLAME! a bus rolls right through the wall and flattens the guy.

Well, based on DNB's quick scene layout and the fact that the Joker looks good (albeit different from Nicholson's way back)... maybe I'll rent it. Still not quite theater worthy for me.

I'll spend my time watching Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

Consider it as a very wonderful chunk of cinema as opposed to another comic book movie and you'll probably enjoy it more.

Batman Begins was fine, fine film making.

yeh, i wasnt sure mr gay cowboy had the necessary level of psychotic hysteria to be the joker, but this trailer puts my fears to rest. this should be pretty epic.
