Sadly I think it might be real.

I actually liked the single Eddie standing on the floor by himself, and this wouldn't actually be that bad if it had been done properly with more detail etc. It looks so fucking amatuer, which is definately NOT what Maiden covers are all about.

Exactly. Except that the St. Anger cover is a work of art compared to the open, weeping and festering sore that is (alledged to be) the DOD cover.

So taking into account that, and the fact that Nicko doesn't seem to be using tin cans , imagine how awesome it's going to be!

The idea, the concept is quite good, but the cgi graphics for the dancers is shite. If the whole picture was created in the same medium it could be great, but at this stage it looks like this is the real deal, which is dissapointing. The good thing is, from all reports, that the album will have some really great songs which is the main thing, but I just can't believe the lads in Maiden sat around collectively saw that and went "yeah - that's it".

Saltys one with just Eddie was great, they should use that. I dont think even Saltys powers of manipulation can save that steaming turd they call the cover though, maybe he could just make it all black.

If they had gotten real naked women for the cover I think it would have looked good.

And yeah, St. Anger has a far better cover. Now theres a sentence I never thought id say.
