The enigmatic Mr.Wu is on the board right now..

I liked Constantine. It had it's problems but overall I thought it translated well from the comic. I wanted more of Gabriel, Midnight and of course Satan. Peter Stormare rules.
Shoot the breeze with Mr. Wu? Hmmmm. Maybe we can set that up.

By the beard of Zeus! I missed Wu posting in my thread! Damnation!:erk:

Anyhoo, I think my main problem was Constantine not being British. That's a main part of the character right there. I'll watch it again at the dollar movie and keep an open mind..

I remember when I first saw 'The Punisher'... Travolta just ruined it for me. Then, after a second watch I was impressed with how well they translated Garth Ennis' story to the screenplay.

(Yeah, I'm a comic geek guys..lookin' forward to the 'Freddy' and 'Jason' comics from Avatar Press comin' this summer! )

And yes, 'Shoot the breeze w/ Mr. Wu' should be a sticky. With certain guidelines set up, of course.

Thanx for the input..I'll keep your expert "comic geek" opinion in mind upon my second viewing.

It was so bad - it's good! I seriously break it out and watch it once a year just so I can attempt to count how many ppl die by Lundgrens hand.

At least BIOHAZARD used a great quote from that movie in the opening bars of 'Punishment'.

Shooting the breeze would have to involve beer, hot chicks, vinyl (records) me as the sidekick to the host and Hungry Man Dinners with Habenero Tabasco Sauce. Then Milk.

And one more thing New York Metal '84 and calling it a Slam Pit and not a Mosh Pit

Mmm, maybe I should go see it. Stormare is a strong guy, it takes 25 kilos of muscle just to carry his ego. Ah well, he dies in most of the movies anyway.

The problem with Constantine was the casting. Keanu Reeves for christ sakes, what a no talent choad. I wouldn't expect Wu to admit it, (although he was pretty honest about that turd The Replacements). Fuck that.

Constantine was decent, Cursed only had one good part, near the end when Ricci is making fun of the werewolfs human form and she breaks the window and flips her off then gets shot all to hell. that part was funny.
