so i'm sitting here and my sister and her friends are watching this movie. what i saw of it was pretty sub-par, but this one line amused me:

(in the courtroom scene where the woman defending the priest is giving her final statement)
"Emily Rose chose to suffer so we could believe in a more magical world..." *not verbatim*

just the description of a God-filled world as magical ... so i guess God is a Disney trademark afterall? the Christians are really reaching for material to recruit followers.

That movie wasn't even entertaining. Saw it in the theater and fell asleep. And I NEVER fall asleep during movies. I don't like religion, and I don't like cop dramas... so this one wasn't for me.

I saw it and it was a waste of $10. A few of my friends had sad it was pretty scary. LIARS!!! Half the time me and one of my friends were the only ones in the theater that were laughing. There was absolutely nothing in that movie that was remotely scary. And I think the girl that played Emily Rose was a pretty horrible actress.

Some cool parts. Just a decent new movie.

Dark Water with jennifer connely sucked way worse. Jennifer Connely is fine so I did not mind.

seriously, what the fuck was in the mind of the director when he made Dark Water? I expected so much more. Most boring movie ever.

"I'm going to try and better the japanese film, but in turn i'm just going to turn it into a total shitfest so people will be interested in neither!"

Really, watch the japanese one, so so so so so so much better.

I have no fucking clue. The movie just never went anywhere nor did anything happen.. it was kinda like just look at jennifer connely because she's hot and unstable. I thought time froze while watching it because the plot was so stupid and boring. The movie was just depressing & boring in a sense you felt like going insane because it started making you feel like shit.

yeah... after 30 minutes you're starting to wonder: "Ok, when is the action supposed to start? There must be something happening in the next few minutes..." and you wonder like that until the end movie...

didn't watch it, and now that I read what you guys wrote, I probably won't give it a try.

you Americans are fairly obsessed with christianity/catholicism. I haven't seen such animosity towards this religion here in Europe, nor have I heard discussions about it. why don't you just ignore it? if you don't have interest in something, put it aside and don't think about it at all. I know there has to be something else that can preocupy your minds. like.... problems with the environment, nature pollution, protection of animals, self-questioning, self-enhancing.... :D no, seriously, you seem to be hysterically dedicated to the subject.

I agree with your post Tee. This obsession with christianity is pretty much USA-only. Even in Canada, where people tend to say we're just another states, religion comes last in priorities. Here in Quebec, religion is pretty inexistant. I very rarely hear people talking about subject.

Our female hockey team is literaly owning everyone in the Olympics games.
