The first COB song I heard was Needled 24/7 and I didn't even know it. I heard it while watching the "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" documentary when he was at Wacken. The first song, knowingly, was Downfall and initially I just couldn't get into it. I started downloading their songs a few weeks later to give them another chance and just somehow fell in love with them.

Yeah and originally performed by a Swedish hard rock band called 'Europe'.

The first Bodom track I ever heard was the live version of 'Silent Night Bodom Night' from Stockholm Knockout, which was bundled on one of those free Metal Hammer CDs.

year later, my norweigan friend sent me a link to YouTube to the are you dead yet video.
and I couldn't stop listening to it.

I then listened to more songs on youtube. and when I was over in america, I bought Hate Crew, Follow The Reaper & ...Hatebreeder. I cant remember if I got AYDY in america or Britain :/
and I got blooddrunk in britian.
