The Foreign Language Thread

He tenido la canción "Vietnow" de RATM en mi cabeza todo el dia a trabajo. Me hace que quiere tirar mi escritorio a través de la oficina y romper vidrio con un bate de béisbol.

El miedo es tu solamente dios en la radio
No, carajo, tu salvador es mi guillotina, cruces y keroseno.

Most of you will probably find this boring but I think it is cool that you can use w and v interchangeably in Hindi. They can't tell the difference between those sounds.

I've started on verb conjugation with the language I'm creating. All verbs in the infinitive end with t, and the t is changed to something else depending on what it is conjugated for. And e is added at the beginning if it is formal. In this language there are informal and formal forms of I, you, he/she/it, we, you all, and they. I might add this thing that Cherokee has with it's conjugations where it differentiates we depending on if you is included in the we or not.

Oggi mia vita sta molto bene. Io amo mia ragazza e lei mi ama. Scrivo questo in italiano per che latino è troppo grave e inglese è brutto.

Salve Omni.

They seem to very much prefer the "w" sound from what I've heard. Everytime I talk to a native Hindi speaker it's like, "I'm wery conwinced I saw an inwisible wehicle driwing through Wincent's wineyard last ewening!"

My neighbor seems to just use the wrong one. Instead of very she usually says wery and instead of word she usually says vord.

India is big and the accents vary, her native tongue is Punjabi. The weird thing is Arabs usually have no trouble with v when it doesn't exist in their language.

He llegado en los estados unidos. Odio donde vivo y mi escuela. Espero que puedo salir pronto.

Deutsch ist eine schoene Sprache. Das ist aber sehr schwierig.

I`ll be flying to Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava and Prague next month. My german is very poor, but I can at least manage to order stuff and ask for directions without embarassing myself.

Problem is the damn hungarian, it's fucking difficult / complicated. I was told few people speak english there, so it should be a real adventure

After hearing a decent amount of the language from metal related videos, viking movies, and hearing Sig speak it on Deadliest Catch it would be pretty cool to learn Norwegian.

Tough language?
