I lived in San Francisco for a while and while I was out there the thing I missed most was UK comedy. It's the one thing we do well over here. Very few people I met in the US seemed to share my sense of humour though!

Glad you liked the Python & Red Dwarf. I used to have the biggest crush on Rimmer  ...oh, and Fawlty Towers was great too.

V-x-

C'mon, it's California, I don't think some folks out there GET British humor.
(Oops, sorry, that's "humour" :heh:)
John Cleese is one of my comic heroes.
I'm sure that the Red Dwarf Stuff is available on DVD, I might just have to look into that!

I'm not wasted! I'm @ work! :D
I'll save THAT for the weekend!
The Python set was mis-marked @49.95USD (instead of 149.95), and it took a half hour, but I won the battle with the store manager!

I have NEVER been to Europe, and I SO want to go!

never been to Europe?!?! We must go! It is a QUEST.

I fuckin <3 Europe. I should not have been born in... this country.

Nope...never.....I was going to go to either Wacken or SwedenRock but then this guy started up this big fest here called Prog Power, and sort of wrecked (temporarily) my determination to go to a big Euro-fest. I couldn't just go for the fest & come back, I'd have to spend at least a couple weeks there. Too much stuff to see/do. I'd love to hit London, Germany, Italy, and if possible, some of Scandi-land(:)). This would of course just get my feet wet for future "quests" :) I am also determined to hit Freak Guitar Camp in the next couple of years, as long as everything stays cool on the job front.

My first trip to Europe will definately include the Freak Guitar Camp, probably in a couple of years hopefully, and I'd like to visit Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria etc. So much musical history up there... :notworthy
