which 1 do u guys prefer they came out the same year i belive and same tour also

Good thread but how the fuck can you compare them when you havn't even heard all of Stomp?

Trendkill has its songs but all the Stomp songs rock so Stomp.

No, they did NOT come out the same year. Stomp442 was released in 1995, Trendkill, May 1996. These are 2 VERY different records. I see no point in comparing them. I like Stomp quite a lot, but I haven't listened to Trendkill since the month it came out. I got rid of it soon after. Pantera had really lost its luster with me at that point. I wasn't into it anymore. After almost 10 years, I'm ready to re-visit it.

By the way, Prong's Rude Awakening came out shortly before Trendkill. I love Prong (Victor with Ted Parsons era), and Rude Awakening is a killer swan song. I don't know their (well, Victor + hired guns) new stuff, but the band Victor had in 2002 was killer.

Drokk is right about the year. I like both albums very much. Actually, TGST is my most favourite Pantera record, but I've always prefered Anthrax to Pantera so...I listen to Stomp more often.

I'm going to see Prong in March(Yes, a long time from now). They are playing a little hole in the wall bar a couple of blocks from my house called the Temple Club. Should be pretty cool

Both, but it depends on the mood I want to feel.
Stomp442 for something with flair and energy and is upbeat, while Trendkill makes me feel angry and a little crazy.
