Probably an ancient thread on this that I don't feel like resurrecting.

Post your favorite grind songs/albums itt. Can range anywhere from classic hardcore punk inspired grindcore to deathgrind, goregrind, pornogrind, whatever.

Needs no introduction. The pioneers.

^See above.

An absolute masterpiece of both grind AND death metal. Perfect in every way.

Pioneers of goregrind.

Arguably more hardcore punk than grind but they were one of the first bands to incorporate blast beats so I think they deserve their rightful place itt.

Probably one of the best examples of goregrind with RIFFS. Awesome album.

Back in the glory days of Razorback Records, Blood Freak released this album. Goregrind with trippy psychedelic lead work. Probably the only example I've come across in grind.

Loud, proud, and Punk AS FUCK!

More protesty than what I usually like. Still a killer album.

Nasty Japanese grind.

Fuck yeah good thread. Here's some of the grind I've been grooving to lately (mostly 2017-2018 shit):

Polish deathgrind featuring ex and current members of Dead Infection, Squash Bowels and Neuropathia. Fucking loving this one a lot, disgusting vocals, great riffs and a cool old school production.

Fun anti-PC goregrind. Has its moments and isn't exactly mind-blowing stuff but it's really catchy.

Most recent album from the Spanish legends which seems to have gone ignored by all the grinders I know. As usual it's catchy as fuck with really gnarly vocals. Like the Cookie monster trying to croon lmao.

Speaking of flushing toilets. I love this kind of slicing deathgrind, kinda reminds me of Nekro Drunkz.

This is some good ass mincecore with blasting maniac drums and dual vocals!

Australian Last Days of Humanity-worship, I love the almost-ping-pong-drums. Sloshin' in ya farkin' coffin mate!

These last two links are the peak for me for new grind. Galvanizer play some ferocious deathgrind that reminds me of Exhumed and General Surgery, maybe some Necrony.

Absolute favourite of the year in the genre for me. These guys always release good shit but I'll admit I felt their quality dipped in the middle of their discography but this MLP brings them right back to peak quality IMO. I've listened to this grubby 20 minute beast so many fucking times by this point and still can't get enough.

That's one of the things I fucking love about Blood Freak and as a massive fan of Dead I can't help but feel like they were influenced by them when they did that sickodelic stuff in their music, maybe a bit of Been Caught Buttering too even though that's a death metal record.

Dead are the masters of tripped out deathgrind!

Good shit. I forgot about Tu Carne. I also need to check out Gruesome Stuff Relish past their second album.

Reminds me of Whore and Fornicator. Good shit.

Fucking good namedrops. Oregon has some of the sleaziest post-90's grind bands on the planet. Frightmare, Lord Gore, Nekro Drunkz, Maniac Killer, Pusrot etc. I'd love to visit the place one day just so I can catch a show or something.

Edit: also, fuck yeah to Lord Gore coming back.

The Maniac Killer full length reminds me of spastic Mortician. That album is fun as fuck.

I got the new Lord Gore demo a while back. Havent heard much else about it yet.

A couple more bands keeping razorback horror grind alive:

Gunna be really disappointing if Lord Gore just fizzle out again after that new demo. If we don't at least get a new EP or full length from them I'll be sad. This gives me hope though that they played MDF pre-fest:

I've seen VHS around but never actually checked them out (I don't think) but this fucking rules, has a vintage Exhumed vibe to it on top of the obvious Blood Freak/Frightmare thing which I really dig. Dual vocals in grindcore is one of my favourite things ever.

Don't wanna shit up the thread with non-grind but one of the bands killing it in the Razorback vein for me are Surgikill who play a kind of ripping almost-deathgrind-but-not-quite brand of death metal. Wish they'd stop teasing with the one track contributions to splits I'll never bother to buy and just release another album. This track for some split they're doing with Anatomia fucking slays:

Edit: oh yeah and Pink Mass are fucking awesome, huge fan.
