We are proud to present big chunk of news from THE HAUNTED camp!! All the latest info on shows and tours, the new cd and the DVD!! The album, as everyone probably knows already, will be called "ONE KILL WONDER" will be out in Europe on Feb 17th, and in the US/Canada on Feb 25th. The album contains 11 songs, with an additional bonus song for Sweden and one for Japan. The tracklisting goes:

Bonus track for Sweden: Creed
Bonus track for Japan: Ritual
The album was recorded at the Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, where the band recorded thier first selftitled album in 1997, between Sept 6th and Oct 28th. Produced by THE HAUNTED and Fredrik Nordström, it is the most brutal, yet diversed, album so far for THE HAUNTED. For the first time on a THE HAUNTED album there has been a appearance by a guest musician; the great musician, and longtime friend, Mike Amott of Arch Enemy-Spiritual Beggers fame. The song being "Bloodletting", where both Mike and Anders Björler have their own solos parts, but they also meet up at the end of the song for a good oldfashioned solo duel... Nothing less than amazing!!!
The finalized cover artwork for "ONE KILL WONDER" has also been released. Look here
The upcoming DVD, titled "Caught on Tape", will see a release towards the end of January 2003. The DVD will contain the Tokyo show at the Akasaka Blitz, Japan, Nov 16th 2000 (the "Live rounds in Tokyo" show) along with the March 13th 2001 Malmö show, recorded by Swedish national public broadcasting service (SVT) for the tv show "Musikbyrån". A documentry on the recording of "One Kill Wonder". Interviews, with the bandmembers and Fredrik Nordström, are also included.
In addition to the South African shows previously announced, a UK/Ireland tour, an Australian tour and a few dates in Sweden have also been anounced. Dates are as follows:
Feb 14th, Sticky Fingers, Gothenburg, Swe
Feb 15th, Contan, Örebro, Swe
Feb 16th, Klubben, Stockholm, Swe
(All shows with Cult of Luna and Merciless)
These three Swedish shows will be a part of the release of the album, with Gothenburg being the actually "release party"-show. The band will appear for signing sessions in all three cities. Keep an eye on these pages for an update on in which cd/music stores these sessions will take place!
