The last old metal album you listened to?

Fist - "Back With A Vengeance: The Fist Anthology"

That's a great disc!! Did you get a copy of the Avenger - "Too Wild To Tame: The Anthology" set that came out at about the same time? There was also a Holocaust anthology that's pretty cool.

Yap, and also the Jaguar compilation which rule (three albums on 2 CDs), as well as the Venom remasters and the Warfare anthology. All by Neat Records, and the name fits like a glove, all are really NEAT compilations and remasters.

It's funny how I'm living NWOBHM 25 years after it

They are indeed cool remasters.

The Chateaux 2 disc anthology was also from that series I think. All 3 albums on 2 discs.

Megadeth - So Far...So Good...So What

This album seems to get lost in MD's catalog, but I love it. I remember seeing them on that tour with Sanctuary and Warlock. What a great show!

I remember seeing them on that tour with Sanctuary, Testament and Flotsam & Jetsam - probably one of the best line-ups back in those days (1988)!

Back on topic:
Fates Warning - "Awaken The Guardian"
(Hadn´t listened to that one for a very long time, but now I´m wondering if it´s worth to get the re-release with the additional DVD.)

Well the DVD is not that interesting, although I like having it being a real John Arch fan. And the demo tracks don't do very much fro me as well...

But the remix is great!! It really sounds a lot better! I am very happy I bought this version. Perhaps if you could listen to the remix before you buy?

Black Sabbath - Seventh Star

Not really Sabbath though...

Agree, the label really screwed BS with the moniker of the album. It was meant to be the first Iommi solo album, or considering today the first Iommi/Hughes album ;)

Tytan - "Rough Justice"

I guess I´ll have to order it from a mail order service (EMP or Nuclear Blast), because I don´t know any record shop around here which sells the re-release of "Awaken The Guardian", so I won´t be able to listen to it before I buy it, but I guess I can trust your judgement.;)

:worship: :worship: :worship:

Everything I needed before, is unimportant now.
I don't need no prayers now, just give back the light.
