it sort of blows my mind, it asks what concerns people MORE, terrorism or rising gas prices and they're like GAS PRICES which actually has a higher percentage of votes. i mean, if both are equally possible (which is the way the question seems worded) i'd be more worried about the terrorism attacks. maybe i'm just dumb.

yeah, that blew my mind, too. i think it's just indicative of the whole attitude that as long as terrorist attacks are kept out of America, they're not happening!

i guess it's good in a way, though--i think one of the cornerstones of Bush's strategy is to terrify people that terror attacks are imminent and only he can protect us, so maybe this chips away at the first part of that.

i agree. i also think people have this silly denial thing like 'i aint afraid of no terrorists!' but seriously you know they're all sweating bullets about that way more than a 4 cent gas price increase.

well, i didn't get attacked on the way to work today, but i did notice a 20-cent gas price hike.
i guess people just think rising gas prices are more imminent? or they're all self-important doofs.
