is it just me, or the lyrics of Credence are the love interest addressing the main character? it sounds right, in When he thinks she forgot him, and in Credence she tells him that's not true.

I just thought it was a bit of a grief-induced psychotic fantasy of the ghost personifying/mistaking the situation and turning it into a lover's spat.
