It's a bit stupid to write a song about a nurse isn't it???
anyway an artist is an artist and he has the right to write about whatever he wants just like I have the right to think this is a cheesy flop :muahaha: and skip this track all the time
:D

i cant proclaim to know for sure, but i dont think the whole nurse thing was meant to be taken so literally.

and well, if it is, he must have been talking about me in my sexy nurse uniform...and thats not stupid to write about!thats just a natural reaction to the sexyness. yeah-hah.
now how did jonas get a hold of that picture? damn....

That's the second time you've mentioned this uniform on the forums... I think it's time you came through with the goods. :D

I probably would have chosen 'Brave' as the most depressing song. With the options I had I decided on 'Tonight's Music'.

I respect your opinions about what is "depressive" or not, but I don't agree with them- I don't have to. It's a form of the relative meanings of a word, a opinion, etc... My sister is graduate in psichology, and talk to her makes me reach to the opinion that "Depressive" is a patology, an illness. In my opinion, the word, with is inner meaning, "Depressive" can't be associated with music.
But is my opinion, you have yours...

To some day...

The Most Depressive song is "Quiet world" then "Day"
but i can find none of them.Hmm but for me none of the songs are depressive listed above. But i vote for "Darkness coming"

"I'm wasting my day watching them change. The sun with it´s blue sky outside shining down on all you happy people.I'm wasting my day waiting for rain.Need more methods to end each day to be happy by living this way."

I do not know if Katatonia are writing really depressive music, I'd rather say, it is a sad, melancholic and dark mood with signs of hope in them. If I am down Katatonia can help me overcome this situation as I feel the subtile positive emotion!

In my opinion Portishead is far more "suicidal art" than any other musical act I've been listening so far.

i know a song that can REALLY be considered DEPRESSIVE... i mean it can REALLY attach the "patology" on you...
that song is "Fallen Angel" from My Dying Bride.

i voted for Gone... then it would be Im Nothing, Sulfur, The Future Of Speech, Day... and the MOST DEPRESSIVE/SUICIDAL Katatonia song is without a doubt Gateways Of Breavement.

because of what the lyrics mean to me i would have to say "For My Demons" but its not up there. I picked "Teargas" simply for the chorus.

I think the most "depressive" Katatonia song is "Distrust". That chorus is so hopeless and desperate, "I want to be forgotten, I want you to forgive. How I am missing all this, it's just the way I live".

Also really depressive is "Clean Today" ("Will the streetlights reflect me well enough?... The darkness around me is so strong, that there is no way I can be seen.") and "Passing Bird" ("I live cause I need more light. I hope I can change today.")

But I voted for "I Am Nothing" in the poll. "If you would tell me that I was someone then for a second I would think, just like I would try to consider how it'd feel to know." So depressing.
