The New Album Thread

Long time no post...congrats on the show Matt! If the new stuff I heard when I came to jam with you guys a while back is any indication of where you're going this new CD will rule! As always, if you ever need an "emergency fill in" send me an e-mail and I'm there! Can't WAIT for the pre-party!

I would like that alot. I listened to that little tiny clip in that "why it's taking so long" video over and over! Even another thing like that would make me very happy.

Sounds Avantasia-ish

YESS! You know, you're probably the only band that I've ever heard of that responds to fans like this. Thank you very much! Sounds incredible by the way, still can't wait to hear the rest of the album!

Ok, Matt... I was eating ice cream when I clicked your latest preview link. My jaw fell open from what I was hearing, subsequently making me spill melted ice cream all over the keyboard. That'll teach me not to eat those kind of desserts when listening to your new music for the first time!! Man, I hate it when that happens!

Every preview you've given us sounds awesome. I don't need any more previews because it makes it harder for me to wait for Theocracy's new CD to be finished and released... And I know it's gonna be great! Take your time and keep up the great work!

This sound very good!!

A small note tough, it looks like the background guitar after 18 second sets in a bit too early now and then and is not really consistent. Am I correct or do we have a different meaning?

No, that's how the guitar part is supposed to be... If you tap your foot to when the guitar plays, you'll notice it is consistent - it just sounds a bit more progressive with the delayed coming in like he's doing.

Well...since you're all being so supportive and so patient, I guess I can't say no.

ENJOY. :headbang:

Matt, just wanted to give you props on your work on the first album and to let you know how excited I am to hear more! You had mentioned in your bio that your most prominent influence musically is Stave Harris. I would say you must have learned a lot from him! You really capture the essence of Maiden without sounding like a copycat. Keep up the great work!

God bless!!

This is going to be my new number one album, behind the first Theocracy :kickass:

Shawn, great to have you with the band, you so totally rock!
Is it possible we could talk some about drumming, you giving me some help?
