As someone who is pro-choice, these kinds of arguments trouble me in that they presume unborn babies can consent to anything. The consent of an unborn child isn't a factor in the decision.

I don't think the man presumes any such thing. He's just an anti-natalist grasping for rhetoric.
 
Both his parents are lawyers and his Mum suggested his lack of finding a lawyer to defend him was based on the same idea. Unless he can prove he could have given consent he has no case. Further proof the idiot and his "anti-natalist" movement is just flat earthers wearing different shirts.
