You know, the fact that nature itself endows you with something should be a hint to keep it. In this case evolution has gotten rid of animals without foreskin because their dicks get damaged and infected with diseases more easily.

circumscision doesn't have any benifit unless you have the extremely severe (and extremely rare) form of phimosis (spell??) where your foreskin is ripping every time you get a hard-on, other than that, circumscision is totally useless

If it weren't for the fact that nature gives you an appendix that doesn't do much, yet can potentially kill you if theres a problem with it (especially if you didn't get it cut out) I might agree with you.

The appendix is useful in the infant state since it produces white blood cells, it's only later in life that it becomes unneccessary. You're also talking about an anomaly, just like it's an anomaly for foreskin to cause pain during an erection or for the heart to cause disease for that matter.
My point is that it's better to deal with the problem when it arises. By circumcising someone you're forever reducing his capacity for sexual pleasure, which is a pretty big deal I think. It's like destroying part of someone's taste buds.

I thought it only lead to desensitizing? I have a foreskin and I remember in early childhood, long before I ever masturbated, I used to find the tip of my penis so sensitive to touch that drawing it back was painful, but so was even touching it once this had been done. I'd need to see evidence that circumcision actually leads to desensitizing above and beyond that which might be experience over the course of the life or a person with a foreskin, through normal human sexual experiences (which can include a lot of sex and masturbation).
