Since this is all Ozz thinks I do for fun, went on a hike today to clear my head. Ended up walking much farther than we planned...



FUCK this next big one is rotten and full of bugs. (Some of the black insects it was covered in stopped and posed for a pic) Kicked it off the tree so a new one would grow back quicker. Ended up with ~10 lbs of edible mushrooms. Not a bad day.


Berkley's Polypore. Very hard and crusty but edible when young. The size of three large dinner plates stacked on each other.


Honey mushrooms. These are edible but all I found were a little rotten. These are very destructive because they can infect living and dead trees, meaning they will go ahead and kill the tree they're growing on and spread like the plague.
