The pics thread

Tattoos seem to me the epitome of fakeness, attention-whoring, and identity-confusion. I can't see what other reason anyone would ever have to burn a label onto themselves, thereby encouraging anyone who sees it to make snap judgements on their personality.

What kind of person makes blanket generalized judgments on someone else's non-harmful life choices? I mean, this seems like the epitome of rude, shallow and egotistical. I can't comprehend why anyone would ever take part in such a (here come the scary italics!) heinous and simplified way of passing narrow subjective verdicts on people!

Fail.

Fear the failocaust, it's failing!

Whatever the psychological motivations may be for getting a tattoo, they look fucking ugly and crappy and they remind me of smelly white trash people.

I don't have a problem with tattoos in general if it has some sort of meaning to the person who has it (my friend got a tattoo of his dad's race car number as a form of remembrance, for example). I think getting a tattoo to fit into a certain group of people or because it is trendy is stupid.
