The pics thread

I assume Ender meant animated .gifs (.gif=filetype, like .jpg), since animated pictures are always in .gif format, but animations aren't all that .gifs are used for.
 
Yes, I meant animated .gif files, but I thought the forum didn't use all .gif files in order to keep out animated ones. I didn't know computers could tell a difference.

Seed: There are a few different image file types, .jpg or jpeg being the most common, also common are .png and .bmp (bitmaps, exclusive to Windows iirc, and not as common) and .gif, which can be animated and have transparency, like V5's ava and the logos in his sig.

Can any other formats have transparency?
