The pics thread

Yeah hard rock they dont do but Fleetwood Mac is a regular and my boss is a blues girl so we dont have totally basic shit or anything. I will say, having heard more Chris Stapleton than I ever planned on, that I'm not a fan.

Although for a while I had a truck that only had a shitty AM/FM radio which in the country areas I delivered to only picked up about three stations. I spent two years listening to an overnight Country Music station from midnight to 6 because there was nothing else on the radio but pop.

Sounds like hell. What decade did this happen in? Because if it happened anytime since portable music was invented, you're a nutcase.

I am a nutcase but it was around 2005. The truck was a 93 model Mishitibus with 1.5mill kms on the clock and it came standard with only an AM/FM radio, wasn't even a tape deck. But I don't mind country music, some of the first gigs I ever did were country music shows. Listening to Australia Overnight was the least painful part of the job.

I don't mind country music either, on some occasions I might even say I love it, but in my experience there's a worlds difference between country music I love and country music they play on the radio 24/7. Fuck that, I would have had to buy a Walkman. :D

I was in and out of the truck up to 50 times a shift a walkman or any such device was more of a hindrance for me. Australia Overnight was a lot of Aussie country music and it was by request most of the time so there was quiet a lot of variety. In the city it was even worse because they had stations like MMM and the like at least country music was bearable. :)

In 2006 I got a new truck with a CD player but it was pointless listening to anything I really wanted to hear because at times I'd barely hear the first verse of the song before I had to get out. Music eventually became just a noise to break the silence.

Fair enough. I have a mate who worked as a delivery driver for years and said basically the same thing, it was pointless to try and listen to anything in particular due to all the stopping. Better to just have something bearable to break up the monotony.

What's really bad is when you get out of the truck singing a song you like and the storeman of the shop is listening to Top40 and some how the two songs meld together in your head.

Eww given the way that depicts people you'd love the shit my cuz's wife creates. Weird, abstract, pieces of supposed self reflection where faces are on backwards, arms are skewed, legs come out of arses and tits are triangular shape. Each to their own but I'm not into such art.

this self portrait always intrigued me, its as if he's looking into your soul and at the same time giving you a glimpse of his own, and clearly its a painful one.

Lego men as supposed to be square and anyone whose stepped on one in the middle of the night understands that. Unless you are of Lego origin you should not be square with a large dot on your head that you clip your helmet too.
