Now I need a strap.

Those are wild things. They aren't supposed to live in a house. Or where do you keep them?

I keep them in appropriate sized cages, man. Those "things" are snakes, and they do fine in the care of one who actually possesses a decent idea of animal housing and husbandry. There's no "tormenting" involved. I've been keeping reptiles of all kinds for almost 20 years, so I have have no problems keeping my "babies" happy. :)

Well, I figured those were snakes...
My point is that it doesn't matter how good you take care of them - a cage is still a cage. And they "do fine" because they can't speak English and can't tell you how much they want to die. People break the nature's system by doing this. It's like I'd lock you in a room, bring you food, wipe your ass every now and then and supply you with HD porn once in a week. I don't think you would enjoy it for entire life.
But oh well...

Ah, it's awesome how clueless you are about these animals. Let me guess, you support PETA (one of the most loathesome groups of people I can think of) as well? Or perhaps ALF? I'd advise some real research on these animals before you go and criticise me (or anyone else) keeping them. So you know they want to die, eh? they seem pretty happy when you do this:

I don't support any group.
Wild nature is fucking wild nature, and you can keep them under ideal circumstances, but it's still not the same. They need to move, they need to hunt etc.
It's happy when it eats? Well, does it have a choice? I can't get how you can't see that? Isn't it obvious? You keep them not for making their life better, you keep them for yourself.
Anyway, if you are keeping them for 20 years and still haven't understood it, - there's no point for me in proving you something.

I think the point is don't keep wild animals.

Though the argument could be made that the snakes in question have been raised in captivity and so wouldn't be any happier outdoors anyway because they don't know the difference.

Animals are born with instincts and shit. That's why lions don't eat apples, but meat, ffs.

These particular animals posted DID grow up in captivity, and yes....to release them in the wild would be a detriment to their survival. Nuerotica is making AN ASSUMPTION that he knows what these animals are thinking and feeling. This is a process known as Anthropomorphisation, and it is RIDICULOUS. I've talked to many before who thought the same, always the same arguments, always the same assumptions, yet these people barely know a single thing about what the animals ACTUALLY want or...more importantly: need.
