Ah, it's not black metal. It says Cosmic Atrophy. Very challenging to read, I know. Took me a while to decipher it as well.

Am I reading it right? The pelvis seems to serve no purpose, and neither do the squiggly letters over the logo.

Yeah they serve no purpose, but it's just a design.

It's alright if it doesn't look too death metal. Some of my favorite death metal band logos don't look like they belong to the status quo heh
