The Political Compass

"I do not consider Hitler to be as bad as he is depicted. He is showing an ability that is amazing and seems to be gaining his victories without much bloodshed"--Gandhi.

I don't think Hilter's military prowess and ability has ever been called into question, has it? It was mainly the whole genocide/nazi thing that kinda put people off him. And if Gandhi used those words, it means that Hitler was still alive and the whole scope of his nastiness wasn't fully known to the outside world yet.

That quote needs to be qualified with a date and a circumstance. And getting back to the question of sectors and political alignments, one can be in the same ideological ballpark as Gandhi without necessarily being an abstinent pacifist Buddhist vego, because I'm certainly not. :p
