The Prophecy - Confirmed?

Any truth behind it Vince, or is this as reliable as the Dragonforce fans telling us Helloween were headlining?

Yay! as a lot of people (for some inexplicable reason) seem to be opposed to MDB attending then this is excelent, they are still on their first album so its natural that they sound like the old gods but with a new album out this year I'm eager to see what they have evolved into

Hey, so long as it's metal...

On the lines of Doom, check out a small York based band called Mysteria, they were supporting Conquest of Steel when I saw them, they were pretty good.

Thats cool, I bought the album when it came out. There are a fair few british doom metal bands around though, easy enough to find with doom-metal.com

I'll be interested to check out the Prophecy. I like plenty of doom metal.

I can also reccomend Forest Stream, Morphia and Swallow the Sun.

You've probably all heard of Forest Stream anyway.

Morphia and Swallow the Sun are more symphonic doom but are well worth checking out.

i checked out the prophecy earlier and they are well worthy of a place at bloodstock.. a fine choice vince me' lad!

STS are great and they have ties to other bands (they are amde largely of members of Plutonium Orange and Funeris Nocturnum). Without Face are very cool too.
