The REAL football thread.

what a great goal by alvez.

you gotta give credit to south africa though. they played amazing the entire match. i can only wonder what the score would have been if they had made the offensive tactic change earlier than half time. dribbling up the center doesnt work. once they started going up the line things opened up for them.

I think they suffered greatly from fatigue, not a single substitution was made for SA until after Brazil scored.

i agree. they slowed down significantly around the 60-70th minute. but brazil also slowed the play down too, moving away from their counterstrike offense

the first half though was awesome

Imagine the (unlikely) possibility of the US beating both Spain and Brasil within a weeks time? If this happens...I just might shit a soccer-ball right out of my ass! GO USA!

England v Sweden U21
European Championships semi final tonight.

If we win im going to get drunk as hell and celebrate like fuck in town.
Maybe piss some people off at McDonald's.

I dont get why everyone is so disappointing with Hart not playing, he has been dodgy all tournament.

Lewis should have played today.
I was at the game and im still fucking gutted.

Oh god this feels good. We completely ran over Hungary in play, but still only had 1-0, then Hungary gets a penalty against us around 80 minutes in and scores. Then in the last second of extra time we get a lucky goal, the last thing that happens in the game. The goal was lucky but the final result was kind to Hungary.

england weren't bad really, i remember the friendlies under sven 'n steve all too well...

i wish more people were interested in domestic football on here.

They are going to show El Clásico live in cinemas across Spain. It's strange that no one's thought of doing that before. Let's hope that this is something that will catch on.

Randy, try watching a sport that doesn't stop every 8 seconds and show shots of the manager or the crowd while waiting forever for the next move (i.e. Baseball or American Football)

Soccer is 45 minutes of straight action, followed by a couple of minutes break, then another 45 minutes of straight action...

I'd say baseball and american football are the boring sports

Tennis and Nascar are way more boring than Baseball.

I'd pay good money to see the day that you actually properly respond to any of my posts to you...but that day is as likely to come as Judgment Day
