I recorded a little teaser soundclip for my band, Remember Sammy Jankis. www.myspace.com/remembersammyjankis

I used GuitarPort for the tone.
DFHS for the drums.
GuitarPort for the bass
and believe it or not, GuitarPort for the vocals.

guitars are singletracked and panned hard left and right.

i replaced the kick snare and toms with some tama starclassic samples i got off of this board.

What do you usually do to the guitz in terms of post eq ?

I made a mesa tone in guitar port to somewhat match my triple rec. as far as post eq goes, i dont really even touch the guitars. the only thing that would really affect the guitars would be my master fx. which is the ssl comp and izotope ozone. i tweak with those a bit, but other than that guitars are straight out of guitar port.

if you have a chance to get the ssl stuff, it is worth every penny. chris lord alge is a phenomenal producer and his presets are amazing. just a little bit of tweaking and you can have whatever you want.
