Yep. Speaking of which, does anybody have *any* idea of what Mike plays to lead into it? It sounds like some kind of crazy fast sweep, but my ears just can't make out the notes.

what do you mean by power tapping anyway... i only use 1 tap with that solo if i play the last part with different finger positioning. Alot of that tab has bad positionings anyway i think.

That tab is weird. I have been using that and another one and they are both distinctly different. The one posted on this thread is almost overzealous... there are guitars and notes in there that just aren't in the actual song. Apart from that, alot of the fingerings are terrible. I just wonder if these authors consider practicality before arranging a tab.

The one in GP sounds pretty okay (timing is not accurate though), but I think it's played different.

You should download the PowerTab Editor at http://www.power-tab.net/downloads.php. They have a very good tab for Serenity Painted Death. Once you download it go to, http://www.powertabs.net/. They have the Serenity Painted Death tab there and as I said, it sounds very accurate.

I already have that one, and it's pretty decent (the solo), but Moonlapse is asking for the first little sweeplike thing. The solo-intro. And it sure isn't correct in that tab.
