The Strangers

Pretty good film, though I missed a good 10 minutes in the middle since I had to piss and there was a massive line at the toilet.

Dialog feels awkward at some points, but for the most part it gets delivered well.

I didn't like it. Thought it was a bit dull. It got a few good reviews though from critics I usually like, so I'm maybe totally wrong.

Hellboy II and The Dark Knight, to guaranteed gems right there. Both have incredibly talented directors with a great cast.

I think they're just very quality movies, regardless of whether one likes Batman or not. Heath's role may be one of those iconic portrayals.

Del Toro just nails the aesthetic elements of movie, and tied with his love for the Hellboy franchise he's just made it all work so well. Throw in his ability to be a superb writer and it all turns into something special.

Warrel:The reason I am cooler than you today.I am having the queens Lasagna for dinner tonight...........

My wife, my family, her family, and I have all agreed that going to the theater just isn't worth it anymore. We wait for it on DVD.

We went to see the new Narnia and there were guys making sexual innuendos through the whole thing (funny, yes but I didn't pay $10 each to listen to them). There were also five kids in front of us who ended up actually getting thrown out because they wouldn't stay quiet.

Before that we saw Silent Hill where a guy near us was only laughing and stomping his feet every other scene. and another dude talked on his cell phone during the movie too.

Then there was Pans Labyrinth where people were constantly bickering about it being in spanish (well fucking duh)

Also was The Eye where a few people kept making lewd comments about Jessica Alba (agreed she's hot, but god dammit I didn't pay you to talk so shut the fuck up)

anyway, yeah.... the theater has become a nonstop onslaught of commentary, digital devices, and loud eaters (the people who can't figure out how to eat without breathing noisily.. usually fat fucks)

I'll spend my $10 per person on a pint of vodka each and rent a good movie and get some pellets for our wood stove... make it relaxing

Depends where you go. Daytime showing are usually better, and I visit alot of independent cinemas - better movies, classier clientele.
