hahaha yeah i plan to spend many hours in the online world of Symphony X but I don't know if the chat room is down now, or if my school's computer network won't allow me in...there is a sign in the library that says NO CHAT OR INSTANT MESSAGING...BAH I laugh at that...I'll join tonight when I'm at home

Heh no, the chat room is not down, they must have set the computers there so that java applets can't be run = you can't enter the chat from the website. I'll see ya there some other day

I have found this chat room to be very fun and entertaining. Everyone on this forum should join in and have a party! It is fun talking to other fans of SX and prog/power metal on the spot rather than always waiting for replies like on a forum. If you don't join in then you are just missing out on all the fun the other 4 of us will be having! hehe...there really is more than four of us, so don't be shy and see you there!

I'm still not seeing too many of you in there. Remember, the more fans that participate in the chatroom, the more the reason for the band to join in and chat on occasion. If they know that they will reach out to just about all of their fans on an occasional visit to one chatroom, then they will be more likely to visit and talk. But if we only have an average of 8-10 people at all times then it unlikely to happen

i'm rarely online now, except for when i'm at work. for some reason, i dont think my boss would be too thrilled if i spent my time in a chat room. maybe tomorrow or friday (my new days off), i might get in there for a few minutes.

Yup I saw that, the talkative ones had left already and I wasn't around since it was 6am my time heh. It might help to say a greeting when you join though Will be kinda hard to figure out some time when everyone could join since we have people from all over the globe, stupid timezones..

But yea we could try arrange at least one time a week when everyone should join and have like a virtual SymX fan luncheon without the lunch

Maybe like Sunday afternoon/night or something when a lot of people should be around and not in work/school, I'm willing to listen to ideas if anyone has any!

Why do you think they added a "minimize window" button to Windows? Well it's for everyone using chat applications at school or work so they can be minimized instantly when teacher or boss walks nearby

this works very well if your online activities arent being monitored as ours are where i work. one of these days, i'm going to get busted for being online for the 16 hours i work on weekends. also, my boss walks around so damn quietly we dont know she is behind anyone until she speaks.

If there still are people out there who think that there never is life on the chat... it's totally wrong information More than 33000 spoken lines during last 3 weeks is the reality! Lots of you forum people still didn't bother to check it out though, you should.. it can't hurt you
