I've colected your thoughts and put them together. Maybe we could make something good, not being disturbed by 1000 facts about DT.

So, let's start:

The Tranquillian Bible

1: Genesis

So God has created the world, time flows in its rivers and oceans, the dawn breaks and the dusk

falls, the four elements interweave, forming all matters, some of which become the basis for

life, and all beings were in motion. The men rise among the animals and build their kingdom of

stones. All seems prosperous

But God was yet to be pleased. Men have only seen one face of beauty, the one ofwhich she is

the most proud, the one which is lit buy the light of day. But that is only the veil of beauty.

Undernear that gorgeous piece of cloth is the true face of beauty, hidden in the shadow of

eternity and commencement, unseen for the human eye. It is the face of chaos, the face of void,

the face of darkness.

God decides to present to men the truth in beauty. But he's afraid, afraid of the reactions men

would have against the unseemly nature of beauty. Yet it is the true nature of Art, of

creation. He doesn't want to cause fear among his children, so he created, from his own

essence, 6 humans as his messengers:

Stanne as his voice
Fridèn as his tongue (which will be a fallen God, kinda hate to reveal the punch, but if I

don't, I'll get flamed. XD)
Jivarp as his arms
Henriksson as his ears
Sundin as his eyes
and Brändström as his breath.
(the rest of the band members would ascend into god-hood from humans)

At their birth, God ordered his minions, the skydancers, keepers of the eternal night, to carry

the 6 new souls to The City of Nightfall, one that is ever at dusk and on the edge of Horizon.

There reside the choosen people of God, where the 6 souls would be raised, untainted by the

world of men.

But then god feared that their messengers would feel alone, since the world was really only for

them, so he created his fans.

He made his fans pledge allegiance to his messengers, and their fans said:

"Oh grandious messengers, we pledge allegiance to thee, our skydancers of the eternal night, we

honour thee, our dark side inside all of us, we adore thee"

"And so the messengers, the Dark Tranquillity, were happy, because they knew they could always

count on their fans"



Version 1.0, Beta: "And there was DT, the finest creation of God or Big Bang, the masters of

metal and of music, itself. And through out their 17 years of existence, they have proven the

possibility of evolution, building more complex and different melodies each album. Although the

route their are treading on now is unagreed by errr... UndoControl, the rest of us DT fans has

always loved what DT has done. And we have no doubt (UndoControl included) That DT will amaze

us again. DT has said words of wisdom in their works, and is quoted many time by the

ever-growing fans. It has portrayed beauty, love, hate, death, nihilism, and all of the divine

nature. Let's headbang to their music with respect and awe and praise the energy that

constitute their body and mind. For they are the messengers of life."

And then, on the three-hundred-and-sixty-second day of the seventeenth year since the Creation,

all Dark Tranquillity fans did set out to write one thousand facts about the holy band. So

great was the endeavor that one Dark Tranquillity member got involved. This is what was said:

"They all seemed straight to me," said King Chaos, referring to the members of Dark

Tranquillity. And then, upon being asked about the sexual orientations of God or Big Bang's

creations, namely after being asked whether a Dark Tranquillity member was gay, he proceeded:

"And no, don't ruin it for me... let me pretend... it's Brändström."

And then King Chaos did press the matter further by saying: "If any of the members of Dark

Tranquillity were allergic to seafood, it would be Brändström. Doesn't he just look like the

type of guy who has seafood allergies? Lobster is like kryptonite to him."

And Brändström was furious. But King Chaos still spoke more against God or Big Bang's breath:

"Anders Jivarp can fire an arrow from a bow farther than most men could shoot a buller from a

gun," including Brändström in those unfortunate men who allegedly cannot fire a bullet farther

than God's arms can fire an arrow.

And so Brändström, in his infinite fury, inquired: "What the hell?"

And indeed UndoControl acknowledged Brändström's anger by remarking: "Wow, King Chaos. You

really did it this time. Martin will have your guts for dinner!"

And so, with inexpressable embarrassment, King Chaos affirmed that he would give Martin

Brändström a gift symbolic of his most sincere apology. But UndoControl did come to the

conclusion that King Chaos was in love with Brändström.

Well tranquillous tranquillical would be cool, but tranquillity. That doesn't sound very cool. Then it's just like DT and then we wouldn't have invented a new word.... Tranquillical would be cool but I do like the sound of tranquillian. Sounds like an ethnic group. I think we should let our "gods" (the mind's i is the real god, right?) decide.... But if the mind's i is god, what is DT?

Well if you want to call that part 1.0 beta, then I guess that's the right thing to do... I have not read the cristian bible.

Still, that encyclopedia thing could be a lot of fun. I already imagine ourselves trying to explain why pineapples grow only in countries so far from sweden using only DT facts. Heck, I even got a name for this knowledge pit : "Tranquillica"

The Venturing 1.1:

After a 4-year stay in The City of Nightfall, the essences of God have learnt the ways of Chaos and Eternal Night. But that is merely the foundation of their philosophy and art. The 4 messengers, Stanne, Jivarp, Henriksson, Sundin, whose words have been heard by some, feel that the Band should be leaving the city, and go see the rest of the unending dimensions of beauty. They feel it is time to do more than what was to be done.

Fridèn, however, has chosen a different route. He has gone astray from his birth's mind, and has joined other humans who have walked with the messengers. He would lead another path, of which its fate is then yet unknown.

Brändström has left The City of Nightfall long before the others would do the same. As the breath of God, he sought new ideas above else. It what gives him life, and he is what maintains life. He has gone, in hope to find the Land of Machines, hidden in the other side of the ocean. He would join in with the others later.

The 4 messengers have begun their journey, guided by a human they trust, Johansson. They visit the edge of Heaven and Hell, where the two meet somewhere yonder. They walk through the charred gardens of Eden, where the Bacchic spring is flooding the Gates. They stand in the hall of the empty frames, the Gallery of the Artist, with one lonely portrait to tell the thousand tales. They ride the eternal millstone of graves and cradles. They dive into the river, love's river of Lethe.

And upon their return, to their listeners, they told the melancholic words.
