I stopped watching after a minute or so.
He double speaks, I mean, he critizices Islam for things the catholic church and all of its branches have been doing in Europe for centuries.
The last thing we need is to have a guy like him teach us lessons about other religions.

I can only suggest you try this book: "Misquoting Jesus", by one of the world's best scholar of the ancient testament and see how they have distorted the truth to have it fit into this book of theirs.

Hey, thanks for the link, that looks nifty. I spend way too much time in churches and my name tends to spark conversations I'd rather not have while I'm there on business... but more talking points are always good.

As for the religion shit here... let's not. I mean, I'm guilty of talking a bit of shit here and there, and rambling on about my thoughts on things... but this isn't the place. I'd rather the band didn't get blamed for my personal brand of insanity.

lol what a random thread to be in an Amon Amarth forum. Although I agree that this is not the place to discuss religion, and especially in the way this debate was presented, I find it interesting how sensitive people are about their religious beliefs.

I never understood why religious beliefs are not allowed to be logically reasoned against or scrutinized. I suppose because it is embarrassing for people try to justify beliefs to others who see that they are clearly unreasonable. However, the best way to strengthen your own beliefs is to challenge them

I've seen Patt Condell's videos a long time ago. I didn't look at this particular video here cause i'm sure i've seen it. Patt Condell made a few videos about Islam so I don't know which one this is but I liked them all.
I like him, I think he's funny and he has the courage to say shit some european people wouldn't even dare think about, they being too weak and brainwashed with tolerance.

I guess the muslims also have their Revelation 3:18 part ... if they look at ancient Mesopotamian gods.
Just look at the name Baal as being the source for the name of a god found all over the region and even in Europe. I don't know of any book except the bible that makes reference to the 666 number.

The point is no one should feel insulted. If you are so completely content with how you feel about your beliefs then it shouldn't matter what someone, who knows nothing about your personal life, says about them. You arrived at your beliefs for whatever reasons.

If someone can strike a nerve when asking about your personal beliefs over the internet then maybe you should work on strengthening them for yourself.

well first of all u cant judge me from my screen name, i can put it as ViKiNg, but that doesnt mean that im a viking, 2nd of all yes im muslim and proud, and i mean by that, when someone asks me what is my belifes i'll say im muslim. but when i said dont bring religiuos issue over here, cuz we r here for the music not our belifes, plus im not religious, but i still respect it, so if someone would insult it, i wont just sit down and watch it, i have to defend it, but if like if someone start asking me Q's about it, i dont know how to ans them. my point is, we r here for the music not for our belifes, if ur here cuz of ur belifes then ur in the wrong form my friend
