Dear All,

Yes, it's that time of the year again. As the roster fills up I startup the gears for this years second annual Unofficial ProgPower 6 Meet. Last years turnout was fair and a lot of fun was had (Thanks Shaye and Bryant). But due to Hurricane Ivan, many could not attend. This year I have made a vow to myself that it will be better. I will start working on details next week and launching the official site on March 15th, 2005. This is a very informal gathering, so informal that if you decide to forego the event, no problem. Please send me an e-mail to the address below with the information provided. I am looking forward to having tons of giveaways, contests, and hopefully some special guests. Hope to see you all there.

I will also be requiring the assistance of one person who is staying at The Best Western Granada Suites Hotel. If you are staying there, please e-mail me as soon as possible. Thanks.

Please e-mail the below information to metalfan@metal-fan.net

1. Your Full Name

Last year was my first PP and I had really looked forward to meeting some of the people that post on the board. Hurricane Ivan really messed that up for my wife and myself because we had to load up our kids (3 of 4, anyway) and bring 'em along. After determining that they could return home safely with electricity we escorted them a good bit of the way home on Friday (the oldest of the three that had went was of driving age, but with little knowledge of getting home from Atlanta), headed back by the licquor store in Union City, took forever to get checked in at the Fairfield, ate some supper and then walked into Earthlink as Into Eternity said their goodbyes. After a few bourbon and cokes and a long day, we went straight to bed after the Weapons of M.D. played. Saturday we watched football hungover til 3 PM or so, checked on the kids, ate at some Mexican joint and arrived in time for Adagio at Earthlink. After Edguy came some private time with the wife that I had been looking forward to as well (4 kids at home has that effect in our household). An Asian gentleman brought some well deserved Chinese food at about 3:30 AM to our room on the second floor above the pool. There was much fun going on toward the check in desk there at the Fairfield from our view. We had planned to participate but the hurricane messed that up for us. Maybe not this year. I just don't know where we'll be staying this year 'cause everything seems booked. I'm going to ride up there in a couple weeks and try to pay for a room in advance if they'll let me.

When I find out particulars, I'll be hooking up with you. Thanx for asking.

As of last night the Hampton Inn still had rooms. Nice place with great amenities within walking distance of the Earthlink.

Maybe this year we'll make it. The 4 hour flight delay last year definitley washed out a lot of our earlier plans. I bet if the weather's better the turn out will be great.

PP V was my first Prog Power, and im anxiously to go PP VI, I would like to meet some people there... i will arrive to Atlanta September 15th 10:35 AM and we booked in Best Western Granada Suites

Greetings from Mexico

Sean,

I was there last year, but the hurricane put a damper on things, and I wasn't around for long. I plan to hang out much longer this time around!

Count me in.

Steve in Philly

Yeah, I doubt it will be as bad as last year. But it is going to be Hurricane season so you never know. I have 7 months to get a KICK ASS party together so we shall see. If anyone has any suggestions please e-mail me.

sure bro, the more the merrier man. It looks like it will be 1PM on Saturday. I will be wearing a Masterplan shirt so I'm hard to miss.

I didn't realize there were so many of you guys in the Chicago area! Cool but odd I've never run into any of you guys before around here that I know of.
