Yeah I don't think he cares as in on any sort of friendly level. But for a guy who cares so much about his legacy this kind of taints it. At least from this fans perspective. And when you get down to it fans are the ones that carry legacies.

Well that was all way to coherent for me!I don't think Dave will really care about who his last album is with until he sees how sales are effected by kicking Jnr out. If this album tanks I wouldn't be surprised to see him try and get both Marty and Jnr back. Right now I can't see Marty coming back and I really hope that remains the case and Marty never plays with Dave again. Dave's had his chances.
Rob Halford was talking up the current recording process and how good it felt (until a few months ago when he reverted to posting only cat pictures) so I wouldn't mind bettering JP's future will depend on this coming album. Hugely successful 2 or 3 albums and less touring after the belated 50th tour. Not so successful 1 album, possibly live, to see out the career.
Maiden I'm not sure about, they are all getting old but both Steve and Adrian are still quiet active in recording, even if it's not Maiden type music, so I think they still have a some bite. Bruce is looking old and I guess after a hip replacement he could find stage play harder, but he does seem like he's still happy doing what he's doing. Nicko I don't think ever stops and the other two I don't really know how they are coping. Music wise I hope they have a few left because Book Of Souls was a great record but not all their albums in the last 15-20 years have been as great.
Sabbath should stay down, maybe Ozzy has one more (not the current one) in him.
Slayer probably none but if they do it will only be an album not a tour because Tom can't tour. Kerry might have something else and it will no doubt sound like Slayer anyway so I really don't see it being record breaking enough to sustain any long term band.
Cannibal Corpse I think could go on for quite a while, they all seem to be relatively fit and healthy and their music is not suffering too badly as they age....and there is still stuffed teddy bears out there that Corpsegrinder hasn't hugged.
Megadeth, I think this album is make or break. If this fails Dave will try again but it wont be worth it. If this doesn't fail I think he'll try and ride the momentum for three. I also think that even if Jnr was still in the band this album would be the make or break tour.
Metallica. Well Lars did say a little while back he felt he could do this until he was 70 (or something)...but when you drum like him that's probably not surprising
Testament I really can't see retiring soon, all of the band seem like they are fit and enjoying what they do, but of course it would be nice if they had done something live during covid. Their last few albums have been solid and apart from the fact that Titans will be nearly 18 months old before they get to tour it which may put the next album off for a few years I think they have a few in them.
Exodus with the newly inspired Gaz should have 3 or 4 in them at least. I think with Gary away from the band for so long, then covid he could well push the band back into a similar regime they had in the 80's where they recorded more frequently.
Anthrax is another one that is make or break, at least for me. I'd like to see the next album be a killer album, I'd like to see them come out fighting but I just don't get the impression that's going to happen. I hope I'm proven wrong but for me if this album isn't all Scott and Charlie cracked it up to be I wont bother with the band. Also Joey, I think, is going to be a big factor in Anthrax's future, I think he's been great for the band and he's still doing a good job but if you watch that Wacken show I posted a few days ago from 2019 it's easy to see Joey is not 100% game fit.

I don't understand why he's so in love with the idea of working with them.I think Kerry would be just as well off getting a whole bunch of players for different songs, be they original or not. He'll always sound like Slayer, his lyrics will always sound like Slayer. I can't see him interested in world torus and massive arenas any more. Whatever he does will sell because it's him, therefore if he put himself with a whole bunch of other people rather just one band diversity has to be at least partially achieved.
I underestimated Rob Halford in my numbers, I forgot his love for Babymetal. I reckon he has two or three Babymetal albums in him if they agree

My napping comes from driving the truck I'd take an hour here and an hour there during the night and then when I got home I'd sleep for a few hours, then get up for the afternoon and then sleep for a few after dinner. It fucked my sleeping patterns up badly and now 15 years on I still can't sleep for much more than two hours at a time, but I can do it multiple times a day.
