Lol good one I couldn't bring myself to read it. I'm assuming it wasn't as bad the headline made it out to be.

TBH I've given up reading most of the articles about Anthrax now. I watch those videos with Charlie and Scott but reading the articles is just annoying because they wont talk about a new album. At least those guys in the Anthrax part of the forum will have covid to blame now for such a long wait, instead of just saying shit like "it's normal for a 25 year wait between Anthrax albums!"

Yeah I agree, between Gary, Will and Chuck I'm a bit over reading about their battles. It's good that they are okay and all but Blabber does not need to report on every good damn interview they do where it's discussed.

This is nearly as bad as Anthrax and their album delays. Sure Dave's had his issues and no one expected an album while he was going through that but they really need to release something soon. Forget about this week by week we hope to go on tour, cancel the tour and get an album out so that the second leg of the tour can have an album to support it.

This is nearly as bad as Anthrax and their album delays. Sure Dave's had his issues and no one expected an album while he was going through that but they really need to release something soon. Forget about this week by week we hope to go on tour, cancel the tour and get an album out so that the second leg of the tour can have an album to support it.

Haha. Well it's the latest FB fad. It's really just a warp effect on part of the image but there is one of Gary Holt on there today.

Not that I give a shit about Motley Crue but they are a prime example of the annoyance of touring. They keep going on about starting their tour in June and nothing they say will change that. Megadeth shouldn't be focused on a tour that might not happen. They should be focusing on getting the album out, it's been 4 years since they had a worthwhile release and to follow that album up now is going to be difficult, but to keep putting it off will make it worse. Sure it's harder to make albums now, but it can be done, focus on getting shit from the four members, not whether a tour in July will happen.

As much as Megadeth's push for this tour is annoying at least they have spoken about recording, spoken about sharing work and being a band. Everything Anthrax related at the moment seems to be Scott and Charlie doing other things. I remember hearing Joey and his wife did that thing for the ship, but we've heard nothing about Frankie (from memory), and nothing from them all as a band.

MC themselves (well Tommy and Nikki) are attention seeking whores who just want to see themselves talked about, but why they are not cancelling the shows, and still talking about them going ahead is beyond me. Megadeth talking about an October tour is optimistic from what I've heard about the situation over there, but June/July is only 8-12 weeks away, it's hard to accept any band talking about touring that soon. Even here and in NZ they are only taking about small gigs, local artists, limited people.

It's been a few days since Scott did anything, I guess he could be busy doing that project with his missus. I just hope a new Anthrax is dependent on getting that project for his missus finished.

Snr might actually be doing that too given that it's his place and he doesn't need to isolate to do it but I also remember Dave and Dirk saying they were hoping to get all the band together in the studio. So who know where they are.

Yeah I don't know what benefit it is to them to keep denying it. I understand Ticketmaster etc being bastards and holding money until a tour is cancelled rather than just postponed, but I don't understand what benefit it is to MC to do the same. If anything I'd reckon it would save them money if they wrote everything off and rescheduled rather than still saying it could go ahead.

There was a video with his wife but I thought I read somewhere they want a full album out by September. Considering how keen they were to tell us about the aggressive songs they had more than 3 years ago, you'd have to say he's got everything written, or he got writers block and can't do it.
