The what's going on in Thrash thread

Lol they must have gotten sick of all the editing. He said before he was going to keep them to roughly 10 minutes. Can't say I blame them! :D

Well it's shopping day today, he can't just be slotted into the day when he wants to waffle for that long.

I suspect if they have that much disposable cash they just wouldn't care if they can have one of those. Not judging :). It'd be a cool thing to have. But the other guy!

I'm sure there is some people out there who will consider it a bargain, but I'm not one. A few grand yeah maybe, but once you get up into the 5 figures for a guitar you don't even know the guy played but went up so much because he signed it I think the value is lost. Even if Dave was selling it himself I'd think $65,000 or whatever it was was way over the top.

Seems like he basically says it'd be cool if they did it. But he doesn't really want to. I'm not sure I care either.
He says no new album before next year. So thanks for the heads up Scott! No reason to bother reading about you for a year :p

I wouldn't mind hearing them do some of SOWN songs, not overly worried about the other John Bush album. Also not worried greatly about Fistful of Metal as I think after all these years Joey has pretty much owned the best song on that album.

I don't really see where Scott is coming from these days. He seems like he's just waiting for Anthrax to happen not actually working to make it happen. The set live set lists change so rarely, it's been years since he wrote anything new and he's barely even spoken about Anthrax for the last 12 months, preferring to speak about his other projects. Maybe he's just lost the balls for Anthrax these days.

Still it was interesting to see how excited that guy got in the anthrax forum the other day when Charlie said they had six or seven songs written. That guy must be Anthrax fan number 1 because he's clearly forgotten that 18 months ago Charlie and Scott said they had six or seven really aggressive songs written. So what Charlie said in the interview the other days isn't even a progression, it's a backwards step.

Oh that sucks. Back again? I've had them ready to go since they were posted but by the time I remember to watch them it's really late and I'm too tired lol.

Yeah, had a tooth sitting on a nerve which turned into an abscess. I'm not 100% but I've improved about 1000% from Friday night where I couldn't even function.

I was hoping to get to watch them, but finding an hour is a bit of a pain at the moment. It took me about 24 hours before I remember DKM's Streaming Out Of Fennway. In the end I got my wife to download off Youtube it so I could watch it on the TV.

It times like this weekend I find myself wondering why I didn't connect the tv to the internet...sure I used the excuse that the kids don't need to be able to access YT etc on the TV but what about the parents...wont someone please think of the parents!!

Yeah it seems that way to me too. I don't get Scott either.

Lol yeah I saw that post on the Anthrax forum and thought the same thing. Must be nice to think old news is new news,

Maybe after all these years Scott's realised it should have been Testament or Exodus in the Big 4 and he's feeling guilty :)

The same guy was the one that said a four year wait between albums was normal for Anthrax. So maybe he's still a few years behind the rest of us :)
