The what's going on in Thrash thread

It didn't sit well with me at the time either but there was no point pushing it. He could have stolen a shit load of bread, he could have stolen the shitty radio, he could have stolen the whole goddamn truck. But in the end the dickhead got away with my work bag, which he dumped, only taking half a packet of smokes and the pills which even if they'd have got him high it would have only been a one time experience. I kind of feel sorry for someone that stupid.

Are you running a firewall? Can you get any address that is after the .com? eg can you see http://bravewords.com/news or http://bravewords.com/contests if you click on these links?
I can hear his wife. You can't even steal right! :p

I'm running AVG no firewall. It occurs to me that I woke up a month ago and my security told me it cancelled the connection to BW for some reason I can't remember. But it doesn't go off when I go there to check stories.
The first link you have there didn't work. but the second one did. I'm so confused.

That might have been why the cops didn't do anything, they knew he was going to cop it more form his wife :)

That is definitely strange. It's kind of like an issue I had with Fleabay and an over aggressive ad blocker. It treated part of the site as ad advert and stopped it working. Things like drop down menus and zooming of images stopped working and I couldn't even click the buy now button. It was weird before I figured out the adblocker was responsible but it was weirder after I worked it out because there was no reason for it.

Shit. Yeah I don't really know what to do. What's weirder at least to me is that it was a progressive thing that just got worse with the site.

Have you tried clearing your cache? Often bad gateways pop up because the site sees you as a potential threat. As a single user opening up the page it's unlikely to every be a threat but it could be bad cache sending the wrong messages to the server about who you are. Cache is a real prick of a thing some times.

I acquired all of them not that long ago and promptly un-acquired them after one listen. I remember thinking there was some moments on each album but none of them were glowing moments. The first one was definitely better than the rest but it was not something I could see myself listening to often.
I bought the first one and was done. I do remember the videos for the last album and still wasn't impressed.

It's interesting they they are getting re-released. It might be a good way to introduce someone to the band if they are priced right, but I wouldn't have thought they were high enough sellers the first time around to warrant a re-release in any form.

That's how I feel about a lot of music. And I always think how it's insane that Testament can't get a proper re release.

I believe in most cases these compilations and re-releases are done by the label as a part of the contracts bands sign. It might be different if the band is on their own label but often they come about when a label's contract (or maybe stranglehold) on a band is coming to an end. Testament may well still be a big enough money spinner with their original releases that the label isn't ready to push for re-releases.

Yeah ipads do use Safari I think. Chrome and Edge used Chromium as a base. I believe Safari uses a different base, as does Firefox. So it could be the browser choice. I usually use Firefox but I just tried BW on Chrome, Vivaldi, Opera and Safari and the links all seem to work, so that's no help.

I always used to use firefox too. Then when I got this laptop I somehow built up a whole bunch of bookmarks really quickly and now I don't want to start over. For some reason I can't take my bookmarks with me.

Firefox imports direct from Chrome, Edge and IE. But will also import any bookmark list converted to html so theoretically from any browser.
